About Us

Started in Cleveland, Ohio in 2004, Rooms Today is the culmination of the definitive changes that occurred in retail over the last 30 years, but hadn’t happened in the furniture business. Furniture, in most cases, is still bought and sold using old methods; commissioned salespeople, ordering and waiting weeks or months for merchandise, and large inefficient showrooms.

Rooms Today Furniture & Mattress recognizes that the modern retail customer wants immediate satisfaction without the waiting and hassles. Further, they want prices that are fair and out-compete even internet retailers. Finally, any retailer that expects to stand up to the “Amazons” of the world must deliver merchandise to the customer’s door just as quickly, if not faster. The success of new retail, from Target and Wal-Mart to Ikea and Amazon, is proof of the changes that have occurred in retail. Even still, the furniture industry tends to operate on outdated models featuring high prices and slow turns. We believe that there is a better way - and that we have found it.

At Rooms Today, we carry only the best-selling items in the country, and we have them in stock and ready to go at a price that other stores can’t or won’t compete at. Without the large overhead that comes from non-productive space, the absence of commissioned salespeople, and a focus on finding only the best deals from our vendors, we’re able to keep our prices at a fraction of what the traditional furniture stores retail, including their current “best sale ever” price. Without the hype, Rooms Today doesn’t need to make a lot of money on every sale, we instead rely on word of mouth and our low prices to bring more people through our doors. After nearly 20 years of successful operation, we believe we have found not only the formula for success, but a better way of selling furniture.

 

RETURN POLICY

At Rooms Today Furniture & Mattress, we offer product returns under the following conditions. Merchandise may be returned within (7) days of receipt in the same condition & exact original packaging as purchased for a refund minus a 5% processing charge to cover restocking & payment fees. Any merchandise that has been built (picked up or not), removed from its original packaging, or damaged after delivery or pick-up is not eligible for a return or refund. Mattress returns must be in the original sealed plastic. Stains, burns and/or abuse of the mattress or foundation will void the warranty. We recommend one of our mattress protectors with every mattress purchase.

Any upholstery issues discovered in the home and still within warranty period will be repaired by qualified repair personnel. An exact exchange may be authorized by Rooms Today Furniture & Mattress within the first two weeks of possession at our discretion. A product warranty guarantee does not apply in the case of abuse of product within the home, intentional damage, or damage by pets, which is determined by qualified repair personnel. Special Order merchandise does not qualify for our Return Policy. Exchanges/repairs are at the discretion of Rooms Today Furniture & Mattress. Transportation of return merchandise is the sole responsibility of the customer. Local pick-up from the customer’s residence may be arranged for a delivery/pick-up fee. Any order is subject to cancellation and refund at our discretion for any reason at any time.

“ROOMS TODAY TOMORROW” LAYAWAY POLICY

Rooms Today Furniture & Mattress offers a complimentary layaway program for our customers which we refer to as the “Rooms Today Tomorrow” program. There are no minimum and/or scheduled payments required which means you pay what you want when you want! Take as long as you need to pay off your furniture without worrying about missing payments or being charged fees.

If product is not in stock upon payoff of the full balance, it will be ordered. If the product is discontinued or unavailable prior to payment in full, the paid balance will be converted to store credit which the customer can use towards any other available merchandise in the store. After one week any money put towards “Rooms Today Tomorrow” becomes store credit and is not available for refund to the guest.
